The tembusu grand tree is a symbol of Singapore, and was notably featured on the back of the polymer 5-Dollar note alongside Vanda Miss Joaquim. This rare tropical tree, which is only found in Brunei, Malaysia and Singapore, is a favourite among Singaporeans for its beautiful flowers and unique leaves. It has also been a symbol of strength and perseverance as it is known to stand the test of time. The tree, which is native to Southeast Asia, can grow up to 40 metres tall and has a wide range of uses, from medicinal plants to timber. The large Tembusu tree at Botanic Gardens is also a famous tourist attraction, and even has its own dedicated car park.

The property market has seen a number of new launches in 2023, but Piccadilly Grand has stood out for its thoughtful design and location, especially as it is one of the first new developments to be launched after the implementation of cooling measures. Its strong attributes include its proximity to popular schools including Haig Girls’ School, Kong Hwa School and Tanjong Katong Primary; upcoming public amenities such as the upcoming Katong MRT station along the Thomson East Coast Line; and the nearby Marine Parade neighbourhood with a host of dining and retail options at Parkway Parade and i12 Katong Mall.

Besides its proximity to the new MRT station, the development offers easy access to major road networks such as Race Course Road and Bukit Timah Road. This makes it possible for residents to travel across the city with ease, and also connect to the rest of the island via the Central Expressway (CTE).

Piccadilly Grand is expected to be ready for occupation by the end of 2024, barring any unforeseen circumstances. The 99-year leasehold project is being developed by two well-known real estate giants, CDL and MCL Land. Both companies are renowned for their experience and expertise in developing quality residential properties, and have won multiple awards and accolades for their work.

The developers’ strong track record and reputation for quality have already garnered them the confidence of many potential home buyers, who are eager to get a foot in the door of this highly sought-after development. As the demand for this new launch continues to grow, prospective home owners are encouraged to register their interest online to stay updated on the latest developments.

In a move to further cater to the needs of high net worth families, Tembusu Partners has launched a new multi-family office (MFO) wealth management service, led by private wealth veteran Jonathan Ng, formerly from Pictet Private Wealth.
